Dr David Goh spent the larger part of his life in the UK, starting from the age of 16. He has multiple Medical and Management credentials from the UK:

• Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nottingham, UK
• Bachelor of Science in Medical Genetics, UK
• Masters of Business Administration from Imperial College, London
• Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London, UK
• Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists in London, UK.

Dr Goh has had surgical training in Emergency Medicine and Neurosurgery in the UK. From there, he moved onto Ophthalmology and completed all of his Ophthalmic Residency Training (Basic and Higher Surgical Training) in London, from 2004 to 2009, at the prestigious West London Teaching Hospitals, including the Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and The Western Eye Hospital @ St Marys, London.

In 2008, He obtained his Glaucoma Fellowship at the prestigious Glaucoma Department of the Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, which is the largest and best renowned Glaucoma unit and Eye hospital in the UK and one of the top Eye hospitals in the world. Dr Goh has a wealth of experience in handling complex and multi-disciplinary eye diseases and sophisticated eye surgeries.

Dr Goh came back to Singapore in 2009 to join the Singapore National Eye Centre where he was appointed as a Consultant in Glaucoma, Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology Departments and held several academic positions.

He routinely lectures and teaches clinical skills at Regional and International training courses on Glaucoma Management and Surgery, such as the Asia-Pacific Congress of Ophthalmology, American Academy of Ophthalmology and European Cataract & Refractive Surgery Congress of Ophthalmology.

Dr Goh not only has significant experience in general Ophthalmology, but specialises in dealing with complex Cataracts and simple and complex Glaucoma. His world class training in London combined with his comprehensive experience in Singapore enables him to deal with a large repertoire of Eye diseases, from the most basic to the most sophisticated.

He will provide services for Precise Computer–Guided and 100% Bladeless Cataract Surgery, Glaucoma treatments and surgeries (including Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery, MIGS), Screening, Treatments for Diabetic Eye Diseases & Age-Related Macular Degeneration, LASIK and implantable contact lens (ICL), Laser Treatment of visually disturbing Floaters and Acute Eye Emergencies.

Dr David Goh is a strong advocate of Innovation & Artificial Intelligence and has a keen interest in bringing in and using the latest technologies and most advanced software to improve on the management and delivery of Eye Care Services provided by his team and himself, and to improve the precision, reproducibility and safety of Eye surgeries.
